Beef Ribs
  • 4 pounds beef ribs preferably bone-in
Dry Rub
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional for heat
Sauce
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce your favorite brand

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper.
  3. Rub the spice mixture all over the beef ribs, ensuring they are evenly coated.
Cooking
  1. Place the ribs in a roasting pan, bone side down, and cover tightly with aluminum foil.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 3 hours.
  3. Remove the foil and brush the ribs with barbecue sauce. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 30 minutes, uncovered.
  4. Check the internal temperature; it should reach at least 190°F (88°C) for tender ribs.
Serving
  1. Let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving with extra barbecue sauce on the side.
