Chicken Filling
  • 2 breasts chicken, finely diced
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp minced fresh ginger
Coleslaw Mixture
  • 397 g coleslaw
  • 4 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
Taco Assembly
  • 16 wonton wrappers
  • sweet chili sauce, to serve
  • chopped cilantro, to serve
  • sesame seeds, to serve

Method
 

Cooking Chicken
  1. In a skillet, heat sesame oil and add the diced chicken, cooking until browned.
  2. Stir in hoisin sauce, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger; cook until chicken is fully cooked.
Preparing Coleslaw
  1. In a large bowl, combine coleslaw, green onions, rice vinegar, honey, and soy sauce; mix well.
Assembling Tacos
  1. To assemble, place a spoonful of the chicken mixture into a wonton wrapper and fold into a taco shape.
  2. Serve with sweet chili sauce, chopped cilantro, and sesame seeds.
