Layer Chicken & Seasonings in Crockpot
- Lightly grease the bottom and sides of a 6-quart slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray or olive oil.
- Place the raw boneless skinless chicken breasts in a single flat layer across the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Season the chicken evenly on both sides with the garlic powder, onion powder, poultry seasoning, and freshly cracked black pepper.
Whisk Gravy & Layer Toppings
- In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the condensed cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and 1/2 cup of chicken bone broth until smooth and velvety.
- Pour the creamy gravy mixture evenly over the seasoned chicken, making sure every piece is completely covered.
- If using green beans or sweet corn, scatter the thawed vegetables evenly over the gravy layer.
Add Stuffing, Slow Cook & Serve
- In a separate bowl, toss the dry stuffing mix with the warmed 1 cup of chicken broth and melted butter until evenly moistened. Spread the stuffing mixture across the top in an even layer.
- Cover with the lid and cook on LOW for 4 to 5 hours (or on HIGH for 2.5 to 3 hours), until the chicken is fork-tender and registers 165°F (74°C) with an instant-read thermometer.
- Optional: Use two forks to gently shred the tender chicken breasts directly in the slow cooker and mix with the creamy gravy, or leave whole and spoon generous portions of chicken, gravy, and stuffing onto warm plates. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm!
