Ingredients
  

Crab Mixture
  • 1 lb lump crab meat fresh or canned
  • 1 cup mayonnaise preferably homemade
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or a blend of cheeses
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper
Topping
  • 1 cup bread crumbs preferably panko
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped, for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Crab Mixture
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the lump crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, shredded cheddar cheese, parsley, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently to combine without breaking up the crab meat.
Assemble and Bake
  1. Transfer the crab mixture into a greased baking dish.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the bread crumbs with melted butter. Sprinkle the bread crumb mixture evenly over the crab mixture.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the mixture is heated through.
  4. Garnish with additional chopped parsley before serving.
