  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 container cream cheese frosting
  • 1 drop pink gel food coloring
  • 70 pieces treat sticks
  • 1 package white round sprinkles

Method
 

Cake Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the vegetable oil and mix until combined, then add the eggs one at a time.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract, followed by the baking powder and salt.
  5. Gradually add the flour and milk, alternating additions until well mixed.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Once baked, let the cake cool completely before crumbling into a large bowl.
Assembling Pops
  1. Melt the Almond Bark in a double boiler or microwave, stirring until smooth.
  2. Add vegetable oil and pink gel food coloring to the melted bark, mixing until combined.
  3. In the bowl of cake crumbs, add the cream cheese frosting. Mix until it's a moldable consistency.
  4. Form the mixture into small balls and insert treat sticks into each.
  5. Dip the pops into the melted chocolate mixture, ensuring they are fully coated.
  6. Decorate with sprinkles before the chocolate sets.
