Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven.
  2. In a bowl, mix 1 cup of flour, 1/4 cup of granulated sugar, softened butter, and salt to form a crust.
  3. Press the crust mixture into the bottom of a baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together 1 cup of granulated sugar, eggs, lemon juice, lemon zest, 1/4 cup of flour, and baking powder.
  5. Pour the lemon mixture over the crust.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until set.
  7. Allow to cool before slicing into bars.
