Ingredients
  

  • 1 box cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup buttercream frosting
  • 2 cups candy melts
  • 1/4 cup sprinkles

Method
 

  1. Prepare the cake mix according to the package instructions using water, vegetable oil, and eggs.
  2. Allow the cake to cool completely.
  3. Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl and mix in the buttercream frosting until well combined.
  4. Form the mixture into egg-shaped balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  5. Freeze the cake balls for about 15-20 minutes until firm.
  6. Melt the candy melts according to package instructions.
  7. Dip the end of a lollipop stick into the melted candy, then insert it into each cake ball.
  8. Dip each cake pop into the melted candy, coating it completely.
  9. Sprinkle with decorations and let them set in a foam block or styrofoam to dry.
