Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb Ground Beef 85% lean
  • 1 cup Long Grain Rice uncooked
  • 2 cups Beef Broth or water
  • 1 cup Bell Pepper diced
  • 1 cup Onion diced
  • 1 cup Frozen Peas
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
Spices
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning

Method
 

Cooking the Beef
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
Adding Vegetables
  1. Add the diced onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are softened, about 3-4 minutes.
Cooking the Rice
  1. Stir in the rice, beef broth, salt, black pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
Finishing Touches
  1. Stir in the frozen peas and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  2. Remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
