Ingredients
  

Sauce
  • 5 Tablespoons Soy Sauce Low Sodium
  • 1-2 Teaspoons Hot Sauce Optional for heat
  • 2 Teaspoons Minced Garlic
  • 2 Tablespoons Honey
  • 1.5 Teaspoons Ground Ginger
  • 1 Tablespoon Sesame Seeds
  • 2 Tablespoons Corn Starch For sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Water Cold will mix best
Chicken
  • 2 Pounds Chicken Thighs or Chicken Breast (less fat)
  • 2 Tablespoons Corn Starch For coating
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons Sesame Oil Toasted or Other Oil

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Pan

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Mix together Corn Starch and cold water in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add Soy Sauce, Hot Sauce, Minced Garlic, Honey, Ground Ginger, Sesame Seeds, Corn Starch, and Water to the bowl and mix everything together.
  3. Trim the fat off and cut Chicken into pieces.
  4. In a bowl, combine chopped Chicken, Corn Starch, Salt, and Black Pepper. Mix until all Chicken is coated.
Cooking
  1. Heat Sesame Oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the Chicken mixture to the pan and cook for a couple of minutes until browned/crisped up.
  3. Flip the Chicken over and cook for an additional couple of minutes.
  4. Pour in the Sauce and simmer on low heat for a few minutes or until the Sauce thickens.
