Ingredients
  

Popcorn Base
  • 1 cup popcorn kernels Use high-quality popcorn for best results.
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil Canola or coconut oil works well.
Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt Adjust to taste.
  • 2 tablespoons butter Melted, for drizzling.

Method
 

Popping the Corn
  1. Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add a few popcorn kernels and cover the pot.
  2. Once the test kernels pop, add the remaining popcorn kernels in an even layer. Cover the pot.
  3. Shake the pot occasionally to prevent burning. Once popping slows down, remove from heat.
Seasoning the Popcorn
  1. Transfer the popped popcorn to a large bowl.
  2. Drizzle with melted butter and sprinkle with salt. Toss to coat evenly.
