Ingredients
  

Seafood
  • 1 pound shrimp peeled and deveined
Vegetables
  • 1 cup bell pepper sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli cut into florets
  • 1 cup carrots sliced
  • 1 cup snap peas
Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce low sodium
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon ginger minced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons of water
Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons green onions chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds toasted

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Prepare all vegetables by washing and cutting them as needed.
  2. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and cornstarch mixture.
Cooking
  1. Heat the wok over medium-high heat and add a splash of oil.
  2. Add the shrimp and stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until they turn pink.
  3. Add the vegetables and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
  4. Pour the sauce over the shrimp and vegetables, stirring to coat evenly. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
