Prepare the Griddle
- Preheat the Blackstone griddle over medium-high heat for about 10 minutes.
Form the Patties
- Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and roll them into balls.
Cook the Burgers
- Place the beef balls on the griddle and smash them down with a spatula to form patties.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook for about 3-4 minutes until browned, then flip and add cheese if desired.
- Cook for an additional 2 minutes until the cheese is melted.
Assemble the Burgers
- Toast the burger buns on the griddle for about 1 minute.
- Layer the lettuce, tomato, pickles, and the cooked patties on the buns.
- Add ketchup and mustard if desired, then top with the other half of the bun.
Serve
- Serve the burgers hot with your favorite sides.
