Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 1 cup warm milk about 110°F
  • 2.25 tsp active dry yeast
  • cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
Filling
  • 1 cup strawberry jam or preserves
  • 1 cup diced fresh strawberries
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • cup powdered sugar
Frosting
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2-3 tbsp milk for consistency
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

Making the Dough
  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add sugar, eggs, melted butter, and mix well.
  3. Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until a dough forms.
  4. Knead for 6–8 minutes, then cover and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled.
Preparing the Filling
  1. Beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Assembling the Rolls
  1. Roll out dough into a large rectangle (about ¼ inch thick).
  2. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the surface.
  3. Top with strawberry jam and scatter diced strawberries on top.
  4. Roll up tightly from the long side, then slice into 12 even pieces.
  5. Place rolls into a greased 9x13 dish. Cover and let rise again for 30 minutes.
Baking the Rolls
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Bake rolls for 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
Frosting
  1. Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk until smooth.
  2. Drizzle over warm rolls.
